Spiritual Support for Families of the Mentally Ill
This page is dedicated to the ones who are lost and trying to find their way back…but especially to those of us who are patiently waiting for them to return.

Please join me on Monday, October 8th, 2012 at 7pm Eastern U.S. time for a special roundtable discussion teleseminar especially for families of the mentally ill
There is no fee to participate, and if you can’t make it you’ll be able to download a recording afterward.
For most of us it comes as a complete surprise. One day your life is humming along and everything is as it should be. The next day, it happens…and everything changes. Your plans, your hopes and dreams…everything, changed in the blink of an eye.
Whether it’s your husband or your wife, your child, a sibling or a parent, they’re suddenly not who they were. Maybe they become paranoid and think that you mean them harm even as you do everything under your power to help. That’s hard to take.
I know all about that. If you want to know how I know, click here.
But what I also know for sure now is that nothing happens for no reason. Everything we see around us is rooted in a higher reality. Even though much of metal illness can be explained by scientific means, not all of it can. And aside from that, even what we can know about the chemistry underlying these conditions still doesn’t really explain them completely.
This is not about religion. It’s about the unseen aspect. Our physical lives are only a tiny portion of what’s “real”. You either believe that or you don’t…or maybe you suspect that it just might be true.
Let’s talk about it. This interactive call, which will be available to you on the phone, Skype, and as a webcast, will give you some insight around the possible metaphysical and spiritual aspects of what your loved one is experiencing. That in itself is very helpful. But beyond that, I want us to talk about us. How do we handle this experience…not only in the sense of doing our best to help our ill family member or friend, but how do we keep ourselves strong in the process?

After you submit the form, watch your inbox! You’ll receive details to access the call.
The call will be at least an hour long…maybe longer, depending on what happens. I don’t have a clue, because it’s going to depend on how willing you’ll be to ask questions and share your own insights and experiences. If it goes long, we will most likely make two calls of it. Whatever it takes, I want the information that I have and the experiences that you can share to all come out openly, honestly, and as completely as possible.
